How Do You Help A Child With Autism

There are so many interventions for autism being touted by educators and medical professionals these days that it’s difficult for parents to know what works.

The National Professional Development Center on Autism Spectrum Disorder (NPDC) believe they have put together a comprehensive list of evidence-based practices.

The NPDC is funded by the Office of Special Education Programs in the US Department of Education, and is a collaborative effort of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and the MIND Institute at the University of California-Davis.  The focus of the NPDC is to promote the use of evidence-based practices for those with autism from birth through to 22 years of age.
